Antioch Baptist Church will be hosting its second annual 3 vs. 3 basketball tournament on May 18 at noon at Quaker Valley High School. All are welcome. The tournament is for children, men and women ages 8–11, 12–14, 15–17 and 18 and up. Register online.
The team registration fee is $5, the cost per player is $10, and the spectator fee is $5. Early bird registration waives the team registration fee. Fee at the door: team $5, player $15.

Beth Samuel Jewish Center offers weekly Shabbat services, family services once a month and Kabbalat Shabbat services online once per month. There is also Religious School every Sunday.

The Women’s Guild and Knights of Columbus of Divine Redeemer Parish will be selling gently used jewelry, purses, scarves, and books on May 4 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Gathering Space of St. James Church. Refreshments will also be available for purchase. All proceeds benefit charitable projects.
Divine Redeemer Parish Music Ministry concert series welcomes Ring Pittsburgh Community Handbell Ensemble. Ring Pittsburgh will present a program ranging from pop to rock to hymn adaptations and original compositions. The concert will take place on May 10, from 7:30-9 p.m. in the St. James Church sanctuary. The event is free. A free-will offering will be collected.

Club 345, the after-school club for kids in grades 3, 4 and 5, is now meeting on Fridays from 3:45 to 5:15 p.m. at the Faith House. Kids enjoy a snack, play games, and work on a mission project. All kids are welcome to attend. Registration is available on the church website.

The Sewickley United Methodist Church has two services each Sunday: 9 a.m. contemporary, featuring our praise band Leap of Faith; and 11 a.m. traditional, with nursery care and children’s ministries during both services. The church is a reconciling congregation and openly welcomes all people.
The United Women in Faith of the Sewickley United Methodist Church will host a Sale for Missions on May 10 from 3-7 p.m. and on May 11 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Sewickley UM Church. Previously owned treasures, including household items, seasonal clothing, shoes, books, puzzles and more will be available. Please enter through Door 10 from the Thorn Street driveway. All proceeds from the sale are used to fund local, national and international United Women in Faith mission projects.
St. Brendan’s Episcopal Church

St. Brendan’s is an open, welcoming and active church that holds in-person worship with Eucharist at 8 and 10 a.m. Sundays, and 6 p.m. Wednesdays. The Sunday 10 a.m. service is also livestreamed on YouTube. Sunday School and nursery coverage are available for children at the 10 a.m. service. A Children’s Service is held on the fourth Sunday of every month at 10 a.m. in which young members actively participate in various aspects of the liturgy. The next monthly Children’s Service is set for April 28 at 10 a.m., when young members will serve as readers, acolytes and ushers during the liturgy.
This month the parish is collecting cereal, pancake mix, syrup, muffin mix, and juice boxes for the North Hills Food Bank. All other donations will be gladly accepted.
St. Brendan’s will join CeaseFirePA for its Advocacy Day at the state Capitol in Harrisburg on Tuesday, May 7, to seek policies for gun violence prevention. To attend, click here.
The Book Club will meet on May 6 at 1 p.m. to discuss “My Life in France,” Julia Child’s affectionate memoir of her early years in the kitchens of Paris.
Game Night will be held on May 17 at 6:30 p.m. Drinks and board games such as Ticket to Ride, Camel Up, Sushi Go, Point Salad and Abduktion will be provided. Bring a snack to share and your own favorite board games.
The monthly Taize will take place on May 29, at 6 p.m. in the chapel. The quiet service is a remedy for busy days and busy lives, as it invites reflection, contemplation and meditation.
