These unofficial results for the Sewickley area come from the Allegheny County Office of Elections website.

Bell Acres

The race for Bell Acres council had seven hopefuls running for four, four-year seats.

Brock Meanor, who was cross-filed; and Republicans David Renfrew and Michelle Veeck, will retain their seats with 307, 319 and 297 votes, respectively. Newcomer Charles Kulbacki received the fourth seat on council with 296 votes.

Newcomers and Democrats Janelle Hanneman Aslam, Julie Klug DiCenzo and Finn Johnson had 212, 203 and 213 votes, respectively.

Republican and incumbent Lane Grafton ran unopposed for the two-year seat, and Mayor Kenneth Alvania, a Democrat who also ran unopposed, will retain his position.

Leet

Leet’s board of commissioners will have two fresh faces as Republican Rody Nash received 284 votes and Democrat Daniel Peluso received 274. Both terms are four years.

Current board of commissioners president Donna Adipietro, a Democrat, received 269 votes and Republican Stephanie Turner tallied 139 votes.

Leetsdale

Six candidates were on the ballot for four, four-year terms on Leetsdale council.

The top four vote-getters were Beth Carroll, who was cross-filed, with 192; Republican Maria Napolitano with 183, Patricia Lee, who was cross-filed, with 177; and Democrat Osman Awad with 157.

Osman was the only incumbent winner.

Newcomer Democrat Elizabeth Surmacz received 128 votes while incumbent and current council vice president Benjimen Frederick, a Republican, received 115 votes.

Sewickley

Incumbent Mayor George Shannon, a Democrat, ran unopposed for a four-year term.

In Ward 1, incumbents Brian Bozzo and Sean Figley faced newcomers Todd Hamer and Craig Waller for two, four-year seats on council. Democrat Hamer and Independent Bozzo were the top two vote-getters with 198 and 178, respectively. Waller received 141 votes while Figley had 118 – both are Republicans.

In Ward 2, Republican Todd Renner ran unopposed and retained his four-year seat, while newcomers Bridgett Bates, a Democrat, and Edward Renner, a Republican, ran for one two-year seat. Bates won with 290 votes to Renner’s 185.

In Ward 3, there were two open four-year seats. Incumbent and current council president Jeff Neff, a Republican, faced newcomers and Democrats Donna Korczyk and Anne Willoughby.

Willoughby and Korczyk received the most votes, with 239 and 201, respectively. Neff received 141.
