Antioch Baptist Church

Beth Samuel Jewish Center

Beth Samuel Jewish Center meets every Saturday at 10 a.m. in person and on Zoom for Morning Shabbat services. First Friday Family Services take place at 5:45 p.m. on the first Friday of the month during the school year, accompanied by a congregational potluck. Kabbalat Shabbat services are held the third Friday of every month during the school year on Zoom.
The congregation will welcome members back to the Sanctuary for High Holy Days this month. RSVPs for all services and meals are required. Services and honors are in person.

Grace Anglican Church

Sunday Worship is at 10:15 a.m. each week. A traditional service of Holy Communion followed by a time of food and fellowship in the Parish Hall.
A pet blessing will take place from noon-2 p.m. Sept. 30.

North Way Sewickley Valley

North Way Sewickley Valley is a family-friendly Christian community offering services at 9:15 and 11 a.m. each Sunday. Kids Church is available at both services for children from birth to fifth grade. Autism Ministry support is also available for children from preschool to eighth grade with pre-registration.
Sewickley United Methodist Church

The Sewickley United Methodist Church has two services each Sunday: 9 a.m. contemporary, featuring our praise band Leap of Faith; and 11 a.m. traditional, with nursery care and children’s ministries during both services. The church is a reconciling congregation and openly welcomes all people.
St. Brendan’s Episcopal Church

St. Brendan’s is an open, welcoming and active church that holds in-person worship with Eucharist at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Sundays, and 6 p.m. on Wednesdays. The Sunday 10 o’clock service is also live-streamed on YouTube. Sunday School and nursery coverage are available for children at the 10 a.m. service. A Children’s Service is held on the fourth Sunday of every month at 10 a.m. in which young members actively participate in various aspects of the liturgy.
Conversation classes for English as a Second Language adults have resumed. Two levels are being offered via Zoom on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and on Wednesday evenings. New students are invited to participate and new volunteers are always welcome, no experience necessary.
The Modern Episcopalians group, which will explore the history, faith and worship of the church, will meet on Thursdays at 7 p.m. via Zoom beginning Sept. 21. The group will read and discuss the book “Welcome to the Episcopal Church” by Christopher L. Webber.
St. Brendan’s Adopt-a-Highway chapter will pick up litter along the Camp Horne Road interchange on Sept. 23. Participants aged 14 and up will meet at the church at 8:30 and carpool to the cleanup.
This month’s Taize will take place at 6 p.m. on Sept. 27. The quiet, contemplative service will be held in the chapel.
Morning Prayer is offered at 8 a.m., Monday-Friday, via Zoom. Bible Study is held at 11 a.m. on Tuesdays via Zoom. Please contact the office for links.
St. Luke the Evangelist

Single adults over the age of 21 are invited to join us at our ASPIRE (Adult Single People: Inspiring, Relating, Evolving) Ministry event on Sept. 29 at 6:30 p.m. at Saints John & Paul Church in the Cardinal DiNardo Center. The evening begins with dinner and refreshments. Father Joe Mele will present “Single Adults are Valued in the Catholic Church” followed by a discussion. RSVP online. St. Matthew’s AME Zion Church

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church

Bible Study is at 10 a.m. Tuesdays at the Edgeworth Eat’n Park.
St. Paul’s also hosts the Kids’ Community Closet. The free-cycle space serves children ages infant to youth by providing gently used clothing, coats/jackets, and shoes to the community for free. Summer hours are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. There are no applications, income guidelines, or donations required to “shop” at the Kids’ Closet. Using the courtyard entrance to St. Paul’s, community members are welcome to stop by the second floor to donate, shop, or volunteer on Saturdays this summer. The Kids’ Community Closet is only able to accept children’s clothing and shoes. We are not able to accept toys, baby gear, bedding/blankets, athletic equipment, etc.
The fall rummage sale will be held from noon-7 p.m. Sept. 29 and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 30.
