Pedestrian safety
Sewickley officials are working with Gateway Engineers to address pedestrian safety issues along Beaver Street.
Council received reports of people being stuck by vehicles while in crosswalks at various intersections, including one of a woman who was struck in September and is still recovering. Council president Cynthia Mullins said they have “some good ideas and are getting good guidance” on how to address these issues. However, actual plans on how to improve the intersections have not yet been released.
Dress for Success fundraiser
Sewickley Academy senior Kendall Sykes is hosting an event at Bellwether Sewickley, 447 Beaver St., in conjunction with Dress for Success for her senior project. Patrons are also invited to bring in new or gently used medical scrubs, new or gently used business attire, gently used handbags, shoes of all styles, jewelry, new undergarments and unopened personal care items to receive 20% off of their purchase.

He also advises owners and tenants on leasing agreements, counsels borrowers on financing, and works on the real estate components of mergers, acquisitions and dissolutions. Scott and his wife, Cindy, have three adult children and two grandchildren; and reside in Sewickley.
