Polling place moved

A Sewickley polling place for all Wards was moved from St. Stephens Church to Quaker Valley Middle School, according to Allegheny County officials.

Theater activities set

The Lindsay Theater and Cultural Center at 418 Walnut St. in Sewickley will host an exhibit of fine art photography from Emmanuel Panagiotakis of Beaver May 12-14. This work includes scenes from Pittsburgh and around the world.

The Lindsay presents The 90s Club + Coffee & Conversation at 1 p.m. May 15. It will include a screening and discussion of the award-winning documentary “The 90s Club” featuring Dick Van Dyke.

Bookmark contest

Sewickley Public Library’s Summer Reading Bookmark Contest is underway at 500 Thorn St. This year’s theme is “All Together Now.” Participants can stop by the library and pick up an entry form. Entries must be submitted by May 31. The winning design will be the official bookmark of the summer reading program, and the winner will receive copies of the bookmark to hand out to friends and family. TEDxYouth open to all

On May 13, Sewickley Academy is hosting a TEDxYouth event on campus in Rea Auditorium from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The theme is “What is success?” There is no charge to attend and the event is open to the public. Attendees will hear from several influential speakers from the Pittsburgh area as they discuss how they achieved success in their personal journeys in the areas of literature, entertainment, entrepreneurship, healthcare, sports and technology. Scheduled speakers include Leslie Bonci of Active Eating Advice, Dr. Bryan Donohue who is the cardiovascular consultant to the WWE; Karen Hanlon with Highmark Health, Pallavi (Golla ’02) Patil of Lark Adventurewear, D. Raja with CEI, Mike Ressler of Diamond Kinetics, and president of the Pittsburgh Pirates Travis Williams. Reserve seats at qrco.de/TEDxYouthSA.

Business Connection

The Greater Pittsburgh Business Connection, a referral group of business professionals, will meet May 17 at Eat’n Park on Route 60 in Robinson for breakfast from 7:15 to 8:30 a.m. Speakers will be Erdem Ankarali of Virtue Fitness & Health and Jen Rosa of Cruise Planners. • Edgeworth council will meet at 7 p.m. May 16 at the borough building, 301 Beaver Road.

Senior Men’s Club
