Big Sewickley Creek VFD and Aleppo Township VFD are partnering with the American Red Cross Sound the Alarm Program. Interested residents should reach out to the fire department in the municipality that they reside in.
“Free smoke detectors, including installation, are available for senior citizens of Bell Acres Borough. We have been working in conjunction with the American Red Cross for the last few years serving the residents in our community with another layer of fire protection,” said Richard Kulbacki of Big Sewickley Creek VFD. “This year, we are also working with Aleppo Township VFD to provide this service to Aleppo Township and Sewickley Heights Borough residents.”
