Early childhood students at Sewickley Academy recently had the opportunity to learn the basics of ceramics from David LaLomia in the ceramics studio this trimester. Their first project was a pinch pot. They then extended their skills by making clay turkeys. They added the wings that they textured with tools, a hat that they built, the tail, which was created from coils, and the neck.
