A new adventure awaits preschoolers at the Sewickley Public Library.
The children’s department is now offering seven new Preschool Adventure Kits for borrowing.
Each clear backpack is filled with materials to play, learn and discover and has three books, puzzles, games or toys on a concept or topic to encourage learning.
Kits may be borrowed for up to one week at a time, one kit per family.
“The kits are perfect for interactivity with preschoolers ages 3 to 5 years old,” said Jen Farmerie, head of children’s services.
Kit topics include community helpers featuring veterinarians, fitness, homes around the world, weather, oceans, transportation and farms.
