More than 50 senior citizens celebrated the holidays with a party at the Leetsdale Manor apartments on Dec. 11.

It was the third annual Christmas party organized by Mayor Sandra Ford.

The event was sponsored by the borough and the Quaker Valley Salvation Army.

Dinner included pulled pork, chicken, green beans, salad and penne pasta. Ultimate Pastry Shop in Sewickley donated a variety of cookies.

Entertainment was organized by council president Maria Napolitano, including a performance by singer and resident Kate Boyko.

Ford said guests were very appreciative of the party and the singer had a beautiful voice.

She also thanked the Salvation army for its financial support for the event. All attendees received a gift.
