Sewickley Academy has been given an art collection by a generous local donor to offer for sale to benefit the Fine Arts programming at the school. Twenty-five pieces will be on display to the community on April 13 in the Campbell Gallery of the Rea Auditorium on campus from 4-6 p.m. The collection includes numerous landscape, seascape, still life and abstract paintings.

Well-known local artist Dorothy Taylor Lindner’s work is among those featured. Refreshments will be served.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire a painting of quality at a reasonable price. The opening bids for many items start as low as $125, and range upwards depending on subject, size and medium.

The collection can also be viewed online from April 11-15 at sewickley.org/artshow.
