Antioch Baptist Church

Sunday service is at 10:45 a.m.

Beth Samuel Jewish Center

Beth Samuel Jewish Center meets every Saturday at 10 a.m. in person and on Zoom for Morning Shabbat services. First Friday Family Services take place at 5:45 p.m. on the first Friday of the month during the school year, accompanied by a congregational potluck. Kabbalat Shabbat services are held the third Friday of every month during the school year on Zoom.

Christ Church at Grove Farm

Sunday Services are 9 a.m. (traditional) and 11:15 a.m. (modern).

Vacation Bible School will take place June 19 to 23 for students entering kindergarten through completion of fifth grade. Amped Camp is July 12 to 16 for middle school students. It is located at Ace Adventure Resort in West Virginia.

A Women’s Summer Bible Study will take place every Wednesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. It is free and there is no homework. Bring a bible, notebook and pen.

A Biblical Citizenship Class will take place at 11:15 a.m. July 9. Learn about the founding of the nation through a biblical lens.

Grace Anglican Church

Sunday Worship is at 10:15 a.m. each week. A traditional service of Holy Communion followed by a time of food and fellowship in the Parish Hall.

Morning prayer is 7 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday. A short service of scripture and prayer to begin the day.

North Way Sewickley Valley

North Way Sewickley Valley is a family-friendly Christian community offering services at 9:15 and 11 a.m. each Sunday. Kids Church is available at both services for children from birth to fifth grade. Autism Ministry support is also available for children from preschool to eighth grade with pre-­registration.

Sewickley Presbyterian Church

Summer worship services will take place at 10 a.m. Sunday mornings in the sanctuary.

Vacation Bible School registration is open online at sewickleypresby.org. It will take place from Aug. 7 to 11, fro, 9 a.m. to noon.

Sewickley Presbyterian is located at 414 Grant St.

Sewickley United Methodist Church

The Sewickley United Methodist Church has two services each Sunday: 9 a.m. contemporary, featuring our praise band Leap of Faith; and 11 a.m. traditional, with nursery care and children’s ministries during both services. The church is a reconciling congregation and openly welcomes all people.

St. Brendan’s Episcopal Church

St. Brendan’s is an open, welcoming and socially active church that holds in-person worship with Eucharist at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Sundays; the second service is also livestreamed on YouTube. Nursery coverage is available for children at the 10 a.m. service. Sunday School and the monthly children’s service, when young members participate in various aspects of the liturgy, are on hiatus for the summer.

St. Brendan’s is continuing with Mask-Up Sunday at the 10 a.m. service on the first Sunday of every month. With the entire congregation masked, the service is an opportunity for anyone with health concerns to feel welcome and join for in-person worship. The next Mask-Up Sunday will be July 2.

St. Brendan’s Adopt-a-Highway chapter will pick up litter on June 17 at the Camp Horne Road interchange of I-279 in Ohio Twp. Participants, who must be 14 or older, will meet at the church at 8:30 a.m. and carpool to the site. The cleanup will end by 10:45.

The annual parish picnic will be July 9 at North Park.

The Fiber Crafting Club meets 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the first Friday and third Wednesday of every month for anyone who likes to knit, crochet, embroider or enjoy other handheld fiber arts.

Morning prayer is offered at 8 a.m., Monday to Friday, via Zoom. Bible study is held at 11 a.m. on Tuesdays via Zoom. Please contact the office for links.

St. Matthew’s AME Zion Church

Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m., and Sunday service is at 10:30, led by Pastor William B. Rankin.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church

Sunday worship is at 10 a.m.; Sunday school at 9 a.m. Weekly Bible study is at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays at the Edgeworth Eat’n Park.

Summer hours for the Kids’ Community Closet are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. The free-­cycle space serves children ages infant to youth by providing gently used clothing, coats, jackets and shoes to the community for free. There are no applications, income guidelines or donations required to “shop” at the Kids’ Closet. Using the courtyard entrance to St. Paul’s, community members are welcome to stop by the second floor to donate, shop or volunteer on Saturdays this summer. The Kids’ Community Closet is only able to accept children’s clothing and shoes. No toys, baby gear, bedding/blankets, athletic equipment, etc., will be accepted.

St. Stephen’s Anglican Church

Want to dig deeply and prayerfully into the Scriptures? All ladies are welcome for Women’s Tuesday Teaching, a no-homework Bible study in the lecture hall held on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. All are welcome to come early or stay after for a time of prayer. Please contact the church with any questions.

Men’s group is held Saturdays from 7 to 8 a.m. on the St. Stephen’s basketball court. Rugged workout and real-world devotion around a fire for boys and men 13 and older. Contact szimmerman@ststephenschurch.net for more info.
