Antioch Baptist Church

Beth Samuel Jewish Center
Beth Samuel Jewish Center meets every Saturday at 10 a.m. in person and on Zoom for Morning Shabbat Services. First Friday Family Services take place at 5:45 p.m. on the first Friday of the month during the school year, accompanied by a congregational potluck. Kabbalat Shabbat services are held the third Friday of every month during the school year on Zoom.

Christ Church at Grove Farm
Sunday Services are 9 a.m. (traditional) and 11:15 a.m. (modern).
Speaker Series: Our Lives are Not Our Own will take place June 7 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.. Come for the lunch, stay for the story. Bob Souer, storyteller and award-winning voice-over talent will share how God repurposed his childhood dream for an unforeseen promise. Picnic lunch is $5 per person. Register at ccgf.org/50North.
Vacation Bible School will take place June 19-23 for students entering kindergarten through completion of fifth grade. Amped Camp is July 12-16 for middle school students. It is located at Ace Adventure Resort in West Virginia.

Grace Anglican Church
Sunday Worship is at 10:15 a.m. each week. A traditional service of Holy Communion followed by a time of food and fellowship in the Parish Hall.
Morning prayer is 7 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday. A short service of scripture and prayer to begin the day.

North Way Sewickley Valley
North Way Sewickley Valley is a family-friendly Christian community offering services at 9:15 and 11 a.m. each Sunday. Kids Church is available at both services for children from birth to fifth grade. Autism Ministry support is also available for children from preschool to eighth grade with pre-registration.

Sewickley Presbyterian Church

Summer worship services will take place at 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings in the sanctuary beginning June 4.
Day on the Lawn donation drop-off days will begin on June 10 from 9 a.m.-noon. Additional drop-off dates can be found online at sewickley presby.org.

Sewickley United Methodist Church
The Sewickley United Methodist Church has two services each Sunday: 9 a.m. contemporary, featuring our praise band Leap of Faith, and 11 a.m. traditional, with nursery care and children’s ministries during both services. The church is a reconciling congregation and openly welcomes all people.

St. Brendan’s Episcopal Church
St. Brendan’s is an open, welcoming and socially active church which holds in-person worship with Eucharist at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Sundays; the second service is also live-streamed on YouTube. Sunday School and nursery coverage are available for children at the 10 a.m. service. The final Children’s Service until September, when young members participate in various aspects of the liturgy, will take place on May 28 at 10 a.m.
St. Brendan’s is continuing with Mask-Up Sunday at the 10 a.m. service on the first Sunday of every month. With the entire congregation masked, the service is an opportunity for anyone with health concerns to feel welcome and join us for in-person worship. The next Mask-Up Sunday will be June 4.
St. Brendan’s Book Club will meet at 7 p.m. on June 5 to discuss “Fifty Acres and a Poodle.” The book is described as a “tender, touching and hilarious tale about life, love and the unexpected complications of having your dream come true.”
The parish will take part in the Pittsburgh Pride Parade, as it has in years past, on June 3. Participants will gather at the church at 10;30 a.m. and carpool to the city. If you’d like to take part, please contact the church for details.
The new Fiber Crafting Club meets 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the first Friday and third Wednesday of every month for anyone who likes to knit, crochet, embroider or enjoy other handheld fiber arts.

St. Matthews AME Zion Church

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church
Sunday worship is at 10 a.m.; Sunday school at 9 a.m. Weekly Bible study is at 10 a.m. Tuesdays at the Edgeworth Eat’n Park.
Summer hours for the Kids’ Community Closet are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. The free-cycle space serves children ages infant to youth by providing gently used clothing, coats/jackets, and shoes to the community for free. There are no applications, income guidelines, or donations required to “shop” at the Kids’ Closet. Using the courtyard entrance to St. Paul’s, community members are welcome to stop by the second floor to donate, shop or volunteer on Saturdays this summer. The Kids’ Community Closet is only able to accept children’s clothing and shoes. No toys, baby gear, bedding/blankets, athletic equipment, etc., will be accepted.

St. Stephen’s Anglican Church
On Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m., the church offers various Midweek Community options that focus on the essentials of life in Christ and pertinent interests we face in our daily lives. Located on the corner of Frederick and Walnut streets in Sewickley, the Christy House is a Friday tradition at St. Stephen’s since 1976. Guests are invited to enjoy lunch from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. The Christy House has two unique stores, the Needles Eye (new) and Earthly Treasures (gently used), where special gift items and collectibles can be purchased. For the menu, reservations (recommended) and more about the Christy House, please visit ststephenschurch.net/christyhouse. All proceeds benefit local women and children missions. Volunteers always needed and welcomed.
