Antioch Baptist Church

Beth Samuel Jewish Center

Beth Samuel Jewish Center offers weekly Shabbat services, family services once a month, and Kabbalat Shabbat services online once per month. There is also Religious School every Sunday.
First Friday: Family Service at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary, followed by an Oneg in the social hall.
Shabbat Morning Services: Saturday mornings at 10 a.m. in the sanctuary, followed by a Kiddush in the social hall.
Kabbalat Shabbat Services: Usually on the third Friday of the month, at 7 p.m. on Zoom. Contact the office for the link. This get-together frequently includes a visiting musician, cantor, rabbi or other noteworthy guest.

North Way Sewickley Valley

North Way Sewickley Valley is a family-friendly Christian community offering services at 9:15 and 11 a.m. each Sunday. Kids Church is available at both services for children from birth to fifth grade. Autism Ministry support is also available for children from preschool to eighth grade with pre-registration.
Sewickley Presbyterian Church

Worship Services are held at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. each Sunday. Education hour for all ages is at 10 a.m. on Sundays.
Sewickley United Methodist Church

The Sewickley United Methodist Church has two services each Sunday: 9 a.m. contemporary, featuring our praise band Leap of Faith; and 11 a.m. traditional, with nursery care and children’s ministries during both services. The church is a reconciling congregation and openly welcomes all people.
St. Brendan’s Episcopal Church

St. Brendan’s is an open, welcoming and active church that holds in-person worship with Eucharist at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Sundays, and 6 p.m. Wednesdays. The Sunday 10 o’clock service is also livestreamed on YouTube. Sunday School and nursery coverage are available for children at the 10 a.m. service. A Children’s Service is held on the fourth Sunday of every month at 10 a.m. in which young members actively participate in various aspects of the liturgy.
The Annual Parish Meeting will be held on Sunday, Jan. 28, after a special joint 9 a.m. service. Rev. Robin Jarrell and the vestry will review highlights from the past year, outline the 2024 parish budget and hold elections for three new vestry members. All parishioners may attend.
The parish has extended the Advent Initiative through Jan. 31 to support a family of recent Haitian immigrants by collecting furniture, clothing, bedding, kitchen supplies and children’s toys and books. The goods will help with their resettlement in the Pittsburgh area. Cash donations are welcome as well. Details are available from the church office.
Church members are invited to sign up for the 2024 edition of Dinner Club, in which an individual or couple hosts a small group of parishioners for dinner in their homes. All guests help with the meal by bringing a dish and agree to host their own small-group dinner later in the year.
Conversation classes for English as a Second Language adults are continuing. Two levels are being offered via Zoom on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and on Wednesday evenings. New students are invited to participate and new volunteers are always welcome, no experience is necessary.
Morning Prayer is offered at 8 a.m., Monday through Friday, via Zoom. Bible Study is held at 11 a.m. Tuesdays via Zoom. Contact the office for links.

Come visit this new year as we kick off events and programing for all ages. New small groups will be forming as part of the Rooted curriculum launched in 2023. Students in middle school and high school are invited Sunday mornings at 10:15 for Student Hour and Sunday evenings at 6 p.m. for “DT.” All children are welcomed Sunday mornings for our Children’s Ministry programs and ongoing events throughout the year. Resuming in January are various support groups including GriefShare, Memory Loss Support for those suffering with memory loss and those caring for loved ones, and Side by Side — a group for single moms and their families.
