Let’s go shopping.

Macy’s will open a Macy’s Backstage inside South Hills Village with a grand-opening celebration April 13. This concept is known as a store within a store, with merchandise offered at 20 to 80% off traditional department store prices.

The shop will have 12,800 square feet of dedicated retail space on the third level of the store, and will have giveaways for the first 100 customers at the grand-opening event.

“If you’re looking for a fashion update, a last-minute gift, or a special treat for yourself, your home, or your pet, we have you covered.” said Michelle Israel, Macy’s senior vice president of Off Price. “Backstage’s focus on value and newness guarantees that with each visit, shoppers will find an amazingly priced assortment of recognizable brands and trends.”

This marks the 165th such location within a Macy’s store, include the Monroeville Mall store.

Macy’s Backstage is operated by its own buying team. The store stocks new and established name-brand apparel and accessories not available at full-line Macy’s.

Macy’s credit cards are accepted.
