Santa surprises students in Baldwin-Whitehall School District

While riding through Baldwin-Whitehall School District neighborhoods, Santa spreads Christmas cheer as well as birthday wishes.

Children who live in the Baldwin-Whitehall School District got a holiday surprise on Dec. 23 when Santa rode through their neighborhoods on “Jingle Buses” driven by district bus drivers.

Two busses set out – the Rudolph Reindeer bus and the Blitzen Reindeer bus. Children and parents were able to track Santa’s route via a smartphone app.

Heatherlyn Wessel, principal at McAnnulty Elementary School, said the best moment of the afternoon was when a little boy ran out to one of the buses to hand Santa his Christmas list.
