Thomas Jefferson High School students recently won the Allegheny County Envirothon.

Thomas Jefferson High School students won first place at the Allegheny County Envirothon on April 26 and went on to compete in the statewide environmental competition in Mifflinburg . Allegheny County Conservation District hosted 135 high school students representing 11 school districts at the annual competition at North Park. The winning team includes Reagan Sanderson, Lukeman El-Hajj, Hunter Houk, Kamryn Mull and Connor McCann. Every winning student received a scholarship for academic pursuits following high school funded with support from event sponsors.

Grace Hampton, who attends Robert Morris University, was one of the recipients of the Pittsburgh Alumnae Panhellenic scholarship.

Alfredo Cumbana and Aayam Paudel graduated from the University of Cumberlands.

Bailey Neville made the dean’s list at the University of Cumberlands for the spring 2024 semester.

Richard Rock, Karlie Prior, Brittany Naffin, Madison Madole, Lisa Kuchta, Jex Djeric and Amber Zevola made the presidents list for the spring 2024 semester at Southern New Hampshire University. Niquia Alston, Caitlyn Dillard and Maria Pawlos made the dean’s list.

Caden Harsh, Riley Lenard-Haley, Jayneil Latham-Mason, Joseph Ranft and Natalie Murrio graduated from Westminster College on May 11.

Elisabeth Sallit, a respiratory care major, made the president’s honor roll at Midwestern State University for the spring 2024 semester.

Nalan Aydin made the dean’s list at Lehigh University for the spring 2024 semester.

Amanda Shiflet graduated from Slippery Rock University with a doctor of physical therapy degree. She plans to do travel physical therapy and then pediatrics.

Andrew Semplice made the dean’s list at James Madison University for the spring semester.

Becca Murray earned a bachelor of arts degree in sociology from Grove City College on May 18.

Emily Ardolino, Robert Benton, Hanna Devlin and Becca Murray made the dean’s list at Grove City College for the spring semester.

Lucas Kirk made the dean’s list at Alvernia University for the spring semester.

Camden Dimidjian graduated with a bachelor of science in business administration on April 26 from University of South Carolina Beaufort.

Matthew Weis made the dean’s list at the University of Maryland Global Campus for the spring semester.
