West Jefferson Hills School District welcomed students back on Aug. 23.
“We are off to a good start,” said district superintendent Michael Ghilani. “The kids looked happy to be back to school and see their teachers and friends.”
Gill Hall Elementary School principal Adam Zunic concurred.
“The first day was a wonderful day. It was great to welcome all the students back in person,” he said. “We are looking forward to an amazing school year.”
The district’s health and safety plan was approved on July 26, with masking optional for students and staff.
