Teen shot in leg in Pittsburgh’s Larimer neighborhood

A teen was shot in the leg in Pittsburgh’s Larimer neighborhood early Tuesday morning, according to the city Department of Public Safety.

The boy, whose age and identity have not been disclosed, is in stable condition.

The shooting at the corner of Larimer Avenue and Auburn Street happened shortly after 1:30 a.m.

Police officers found the victim with a gunshot wound to the thigh. They applied pressure until medics arrived to take him to the hospital.

Police have no suspects, and the investigation is ongoing.
