Two people were injured in a crash Saturday along Route 780 in Upper Burrell.

Police and EMS were called to the intersection of Route 780 and Stoney Hill Road shortly before 5 p.m. for the two-vehicle crash.

According to a Pennsylvania State Police report, the driver of a Chevy Silverado truck was attempting a left turn from Route 780 onto Stoney Hill when it struck the front of an oncoming car.

The car’s driver, a 38-year-old Apollo man, was flown for treatment at UPMC Presbyterian. A 7-year-old child in the back of the car was transported to UPMC Children’s Hospital with suspected minor injuries.

The truck’s driver, a 70-year-old New Kensington man, was not injured, police said.
