A 23-year-old Plum man who was shot in the chest last week has been upgraded to stable condition, Allegheny County Police said Tuesday.

Officers responded to the shooting at about 8 p.m. Friday along the 7800 block of Saltsburg Road.

The man, whose name was not released, was taken by Plum EMS in critical condition to an unspecified hospital.

Plum police Detective Joseph Little said Tuesday the altercation between the victim and three other men was caught on Ring doorbell video.

He would not confirm any description of the assailants or what may have precipitated the shooting.

Plum detectives and Allegheny County homicide detectives are investigating.

Those with information regarding the shooting are urged to contact borough police at 412-793-7400 or county police at 1-833-ALL-TIPS.
