Arrest warrant issued for New Kensington woman accused of stabbing man during domestic dispute

Westmoreland County detectives and New Kensington police have obtained an arrest warrant for a woman accused of getting into an argument with a man during which they stabbed each other.

Police on Aug. 3 charged Tamara Lynn Ambrosi, 56, with felony counts of aggravated assault and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon along with counts of simple assault, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.

Investigators said Ambrosi and Franz Wade, 61, stabbed each other during a July 28 argument at his apartment on Seventh Street in New Kensington, according to a news release from the county district attorney.

Both were taken to a local hospital for treatment, according to the DA.

Wade also was was charged with felony counts of aggravated assault and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon along with counts of simple assault, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.

After being treated, Wade was taken into custody and placed in the Westmoreland County jail. He was being detained in lieu of a $50,000 cash bond, according to court records. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 5 before District Judge Frank J. Pallone Jr.
