One person was airlifted to a hospital by medical helicopter after a three-vehicle crash Tuesday morning in Washington Township.

The wreck, around 10:30 a.m. near Meyer’s Schreck RV along Route 66, involved a Jeep SUV, a pickup truck and a dump truck, according to Washington Township police Sgt. Dakota Drew.

Route 66 was closed for several hours between its split with Route 356 and Reservoir Road. It was reopened as of 2:30 p.m., according to Westmoreland 911.

Multiple ambulances and crews from the Oklahoma Borough and Washington Township fire departments responded to the scene.

An investigation is ongoing, Drew said.
