Several fire companies are conducting a “very real, but simulated fire drill” at the Harrison Hi-Rise in Harrison on Tuesday evening.

The drill, starts at 6 p.m. at the Broadview Boulevard facility, will include officials from the Citizens Hose, Hilltop Hose and Harrison Hills fire departments.

“If you see fire trucks, lights, ladders up, and possibly smoke, do not be alarmed as again this is a drill/practice only,” a Citizens Hose Facebook post reads. “Also, please don’t rubber-neck on Freeport Road and cause a crash.”

It was not immediately clear how long the drill would last.
