One quarter of TV’s “Impractical Jokers” will make an improvisational appearance in the Pittsburgh area on Friday.

Sal Vulcano from TruTV’s hit show will be at three Pittsburgh-area mall movie theaters Friday night to help pitch the group’s feature film debut in “Impractical Jokers: The Movie.”

Vulcano is expected to be at the Cinemark in Robinson at 4:20 p.m., the one at the Monroeville Mall at 7 p.m., and at the Pittsburgh Mills mall in Frazer at 10 p.m.

Vulcano said via Twitter that he’s coming to “say hello” and introduce the film that opened Thursday.

The show and movie features Vulcano and his friends/castmates James Murray, Joe Gatto and Brian Quinn, also known as the New York comedy quartet The Tenderloins.

They challenge each other to interact with strangers through bold dares and pranks with the idea of who can embarrass each other the most. The TV show is in its eighth season and has surpassed 200 episodes.

All four pranksters are expected to be in Pittsburgh on Aug. 15 at PPG Paints Arena for their “The Scoopski Potatoes Tour.”
