Kiski police accuse Brackenridge woman of DUI, gun violations and possessing cocaine

A Brackenridge woman is facing charges of driving under the influence, concealing a loaded gun in her car and possessing suspected cocaine after a traffic stop 12:30 a.m. Sunday, Kiski Township police said.

Sherry Milanak, 50, was speeding and swerving on Route 56 causing, police said. She was stopped and was suspected to be under the influence of cocaine, police said.

When Milanak was taken into custody, police found a loaded hand gun on her seat that she attempted to conceal by sitting on it, police said.

A bag of suspected cocaine was also found in the car, police said.

Milanak was charged with a firearms violation along with DUI, possession of cocaine and other violations, according to a criminal complaint.
