Tamara Girardi, of Lower Burrell, based her first children’s book “Why, Daddy? Why?” on how her daughter, Gabriella, asked questions when she was 4 years old. Her publisher, Familius, decided to illustrate father and daughter as bears, with illustrations by Nichola Cowdery.
