The Armstrong County Coroner identified the man killed in a crash in North Apollo early Sunday as Brady Bollinger, 27, of Blairville.

According to the coroner, the crash happened about 2:15 a.m. on Hickory Nut Road in an area between North Apollo and Kiski Township.

A statement from the coroner said Bollinger lost control of a 1989 Ford Mustang that he was driving south on Hickory Nut Road.

The car went off the road, hit a mailbox and went up a driveway in the 1800 block, where it hit a tree and rolled over.

Bollinger was not wearing a seat belt, the coroner’s statement said. He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 3 a.m.

The coroner said Bollinger died from multiple blunt force traumas. Toxicology tests will be done.

The coroner’s office and Kiski Township police are continuing to investigate.
