Police are investigating the death of a child Wednesday in Harrison.
Harrison police Chief Brian Turack said township officers responded to Pine Street for a medical incident involving a 3-year-old child inside of a residence.
He said Allegheny County Police were subsequently requested to the scene to handle the investigation. The child was pronounced dead at the scene, according to county investigators.
First responders were called to the scene at about 12:15 p.m.
Pine Street sits between Linden and Spruce streets in Harrison’s Natrona neighborhood.
The scene was cleared at 5 p.m.
