State and county narcotics agents accused a New Kensington woman of being a drug dealer after, they say, 900 packets of fentanyl were confiscated during a raid at her home.

Ieesha Franshawn Rajab, 41, of the 1100 block of Fifth Avenue was charged with two felony counts of possession of drugs with the intent to deliver along with three related drug charges and a count of obstruction of justice.

Rajab was being detained in the Westmoreland County jail in lieu of a $75,000 cash bond, according to court records. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 27 before District Judge Frank J. Pallone Jr.

Agents from the state Attorney General’s Office and the Westmoreland County Drug Task Force, which includes officers from New Kensington, wrote in a criminal complaint that Rajab leaned against the inside of the door to try to stop police from breaking through after she refused to answer their knocks announcing the raid.

After several tries, officers were able to get inside and take Rajab into custody, the complaint said.

Rajab told police that an accomplice for whom they were searching, Trequann Eldavon Dudley, 19, was in his room, the complaint said. Police said it appeared that Dudley was able to flee the home, as there was a broken screen in the living room and a footprint on the sofa.

While police were searching the house, Rajab received a call from a number listed as “My One and Only Headache,” who she said was Dudley, police said.

Police said Dudley was out of breath when they spoke to him and urged him to return to the home and surrender.

Dudley declined their request and was charged with two felony counts of possession of drugs with the intent to deliver along with three misdemeanor drug counts, according to court records.

Investigators said they found 900 packets of fentanyl packaged into 18 bricks, along with a single round of 9 mm ammunition inside a bedroom wall. The street value of the fentanyl is about $4,500, police said.

Police also confiscated a gram of crack cocaine, a baggie with 3 grams of marijuana, 0.2 grams of fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.
