Friends of the Riverfront is seeking Harrison’s support to apply for a state grant that would be used toward developing a vacant lot at River Road and Sycamore Street into a parking lot for use with a nearby kayak launch.

Friends of the Riverfront built a kayak launch on the Allegheny River in the Natrona neighborhood of Harrison in 2013. The launch is part of the Three Rivers Water Trail.
