Motorists who drive through Tarentum can expect temporary restrictions on some streets in September, when the borough kicks off its paving program.

Milling and paving is scheduled for the following roads:

• Summit Street from 10th Avenue to 8th Avenue

• Fentzell Alley from Roup Street to 8th Avenue

• East Eighth Avenue from Ormond Street to Laurel Lane

• Coe Street from Summit to 10th Avenue

• 100 block of West 9th Avenue

• 200 block of West 10th Avenue

Borough officials expect the work to last no more than a week, depending on the weather.

According to a borough social media post, temporary parking restrictions will be in effect. Signs will be posted at least three days in advance on affected streets.
