No one was reported injured after a water tanker truck overturned about 4 p.m. Monday on the Tarentum Bridge, authorities said.

The rollover happened at the Tarentum end of the bridge near the First Avenue off ramp, shutting down lanes heading toward New Kensington. Traffic from Route 28 was being diverted onto Freeport Road toward the New Kensington Bridge.

Allegheny County dispatchers said no one was transported by EMS from the scene. Summit Hose VFD Chief Josh Fox said the truck driver had a minor head injury but remained at the scene.

Crews managed to right the tanker just before 5 p.m. The affected traffic lanes reopened around 5:30 p.m.

Water leaked from the tanker, but no fuel leaked from the vehicle, according to Fox.
