Tarentum police say man arrested after walking along street naked twice in same night
Police charged a Tarentum man with indecent exposure after they found him walking naked along the street twice in one night.
Richard Fox, 48, of the 200 block of West Sixth Avenue was charged with three misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure in connection with the incidents police say happened on June 16.
Police wrote in a criminal complaint that officers responded to a 911 call shortly before 8:30 p.m. and found Fox walking naked in the 1300 block of Bakerstown Road.
When police asked Fox why he was walking around without any clothing, he told them: “I’m repenting for my father,” the complaint said.
Police drove Fox back to his home and warned him not to go outside while undressed.
A short time later, police said, they were called back to the Bakerstown Road where they again found Fox walking naked, the complaint said.
While investigating the incident, police learned that, during both times Fox was out walking without clothes on, he was supposed to be babysitting two children who are 5 and 6, the complaint said.
Fox was arrested after the second incident, police said.
