A private club in O’Hara’s RIDC Park is seeking a liquor license at its Alpha Drive facility.

The Bocce House of Pittsburgh, LLC will have a public hearing before O’Hara Council on Tuesday.

It is seeking an inter-municipal license transfer to serve alcohol at its site at 641 Alpha Drive.

The purpose of the hearing is to gather public input on the request.

The hearing will begin at 7 p.m. in the municipal building, 325 Fox Chapel Road. Council will meet immediately following.

Representatives from The Bocce House were not able to be reached.

Township Manager Julie Jakubec said it is a members-only club. It’s housed in a single-story, 30,000-square-foot building. There is no kitchen facility.

Details of the proposed use for the liquor license were not listed on the application to the township.

If approved, the license would be transferred from 13 Karat LLC in Elizabeth, Jakubec said.
