Card party to benefit Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley
The Hearts for Strays spring card party and luncheon to benefit Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley will be May 10 at Knead Community Café, 1011 Barnes St., New Kensington.

Bingo to raise funds for Leechburg 175th anniversary celebration
A super bingo to benefit the Leechburg 175th Anniversary celebration will be April 13 at West Leechburg Volunteer Firehall, 1116 Gosser St.
Doors open at 12:30 p.m., food will be served at 1:30 p.m. and games will begin at 2:30. Tickets are $35 and include lunch, 16 regular games and four specials. There will be a basket raffle and 50-50 and a $35 cash prize will be drawn between each bingo game. Daubers, extra packets and specials will be sold at the door.

Metal band concert to aid Frankie’s Friends Cat Rescue
Preserving Concerts will host a free metal concert at 6 p.m. Sunday to benefit Frankie’s Friends Cat Rescue at Preserving Underground, 1101 Fifth Ave., New Kensington.

Paws Across Pittsburgh plans bingo fundraiser
A bingo to benefit animal charity Paws Across Pittsburgh will be from 7 to 10 p.m. April 19 at the Brackenridge American Legion, 845 E. First Ave.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. Cost is $30 and includes regular games and one set of specials. Extra specials will be sold and there will be a basket raffle, food, non-alcoholic drinks and a cash bar.
