Coffee with a Cop event planned in Harrison
Harrison Township Police Department will have a Coffee With a Cop event from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at Harvest Moon Coffee and Chocolates, 1705 Union Ave., Natrona Heights.
Residents are welcome to meet and talk to officers over a free cup of coffee, or hot chocolate for children. Bring a non-expired food item for donation to the Allegheny Valley Association of Churches Food Bank.
Pet food, supplies needed at Animal Protectors
Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley is accepting donations of pet food and supplies for its community pantry in New Kensington.
Donations can be dropped off from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. any day at the rear entrance of the shelter, 730 Church St.
