Winfield ministry offers help to mothers, children
The Matrona Family Resource Center, a ministry of Cabot Church, 707 Winfield Road, Winfield, is open from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays and offers new and gently used clothing and equipment for babies and children.
Items available include strollers, car seats, cribs, toys and bottles as well as maternity clothing, postpartum hygiene items, diapers and formula. No registration is required.

Stuff the Bus event to support food drive
Bon Air and Stewart elementary school PTAs in Lower Burrell will sponsor a Stuff the Bus event Monday through Friday at both schools as part of the Fallen Officers Food Drive.
Non-perishable food and canned goods will be collected outside the main doors of Bon Air School and in the office at Stewart School and delivered to the food drive set for Jan. 27 at Mogie’s Magill Grill on Leechburg Road. Items collected will benefit the St. Margaret Mary Church Food Pantry and Westmoreland County Food Bank.
