Drive-thru food distribution set Tuesday at Pittsburgh Mills
Allegheny Valley Association of Churches and the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank will host a drive-thru food distribution for anyone in need from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday in parking lot of the former JC Penney store at the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills, Frazer.
Reservations are not required. Do not arrive before 4 p.m. Guests should remain in their vehicles and open their door or trunk and will be served on a first come, first served basis.
Water donations welcome at New Kensington fire station
Donations of bottled water are being accepted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily at New Kensington Volunteer Fire Department No. 1, 785 Fourth Ave.
Water keeps the volunteer hydrated while they fight fires. All donations are greatly appreciated.
New agricultural, conservation center to open in Armstrong County
The Armstrong Conservation District and Penn State Extension of Armstrong County will host an open house from 1 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the new Armsdale Center for Agriculture and Conservation, 142 Armsdale Road, Rayburn Township.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be at 2 p.m. Those attending can learn about services available from agricultural and conservation organizations at the county, state and federal level while enjoying activities for the whole family. Light refreshments will be served.

Monday through Friday: The Natrona Playground Summer Camp for children serves a free lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. weekdays at the playground, 10 River Ave. Free classes from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. are: Tuesday, painting fun with Mr. Kevin; Wednesday, crafts project with Community Library of Allegheny Valley; and Thursday, sculptures with Food Edible Art.

Tuesday: Concordia at Cabot sponsors a free monthly caregiver support group at 2 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month in the Lund Care Center private dining room, 134 Marwood Road. Use Entrance 4. Kiski Township
Tuesday: The diaper pantry at Spring Church Lutheran Church, 3623 Lutheran Church Road, will distribute diapers from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church. Distributions will be the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. Recipients must register in advance. First-time recipients must provide their own ID, the child’s birth certificate and a current WIC or SNAP card. Registration: 724-478-1528.

Tuesday: A representative from PA CareerLink will be available from 10 a.m. to noon in the office of state Rep. Jill Cooper, 356 Freeport St., suite 100. Services available will include resume and job search help, assistance navigating the Pa. CareerLink website, registering for workshops and interviewing techniques.
Oakmont

Through August 31: Kerr Memorial Museum, 402 Delaware Ave., Oakmont, is featuring an exhibit of elegant fashions of the late 1800s to the Roaring ‘20s at the museum.
