Car cruise and concert planned Sunday
The Allegheny County Summer Concert Series at Hartwood Acres Park Amphitheater, Indiana Township, will feature a free Father’s Day car cruise from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday.
Food trucks will be available at 6 p.m. A concert by the Jaggerz will be at 7:30 p.m.
Free lecture offered at A-K Health Foundation
Allegheny-Kiski Health Foundation will sponsor a free lecture about neuroplasticity and brain health from 6 to 7:30 p.m. June 27 at the foundation, 1 Acee Drive, Harrison.
Speaker Ted J. Cibik will discuss brain health, longevity, how exercise and nutrition impact brain health and more. Reservations are required.

Donations being accepted for book sale
Peoples Library in New Kensington and Lower Burrell is accepting donations for its annual book sale during operating hours.
