Monthly Breaking Bread dinner planned at Knead Community Cafe
Knead Community Cafe, 1011 Barnes St., New Kensington, will host its free monthly dine-in Breaking Bread dinner at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the cafe.
The meal will be sponsored by MW Mechanical Services. No takeout meals will be available.
The café is seeking sponsors for its Grab and Go community outreach meals. Meals can be sponsored in honor or in memory of someone or to celebrate a business or organization. For information and to sign up, visit kneadcommunitycafe.org/meal-sponsorships.

Vandergrift event to celebrate ’60s and ’70s
The Vandergrift Gathering on Grant event will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday on Grant Avenue in the borough.
There will be music, vendors, food trucks and entertainment. This month’s theme will be the ‘60s and ‘70s.
Free art exhibition set at Tarentum’s Manos Gallery
The Manos Gallery in Tarentum will host “Diversity Exhibition,” a juried art show featuring the works of members of the Pittsburgh Society of Artists, through June 29 at the theater, 320 E. Fifth Ave.
An closing reception will be from 3 to 6 p.m. June 29 at the gallery. Hours during the exhibition will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesdays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays. All events are free and the public is welcome.

There will be 14 regular games that pay $100; five specials, and a must-go $1,000 jackpot game; silent auction, small games of chance and a 50-50. Snacks, pop and water will be sold. No alcohol permitted. Cost: $40 in advance, includes lunch and bingo package. No seats can be saved. Proceeds will benefit club charities. July 11: A rubber ducky race fundraiser to benefit the borough’s 175th anniversary celebration next year will be at 5 p.m. on the Kiski River. Ducks will be dropped into the river from the walking bridge to Hyde Park and will be fished out at the finish line at the firemen’s boat launch. Prizes will be awarded. Cost: $5 per duck. Ducks are available at Leechburg Public Library, 139 Market St. Checks payable to Leechburg Area Community Association will be accepted.
