Food distribution set Tuesday at Lernerville Speedway
Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank will host a drive-through food distribution for anyone in need from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lernerville Speedway, 313 N. Pike Road.
No reservations are required. Guests should remain in their vehicles and open their door or trunk and will be served on a first come, first served basis.
Free community dinner planned at Tarentum church
First Presbyterian Church in Tarentum will host a free dine-in community dinner from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church, 913 Lock St.
No reservations required and everyone is welcome.
Volunteers needed at Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley
Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley is looking for volunteers to help out at the shelter in New Kensington.
There are opportunities available every day to suit every person including dog and cat care, event and fundraising work, cleaning, maintenance, doggy day outs, fostering, office work and administration.
