Freeport Area HS Key Club to collect supplies for hurricane victims
The Freeport Area High School Key Club will sponsor a drive-thru supply collection for the victims of the recent hurricanes from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday in front of the high school.
Items most needed include water, diapers, batteries, buckets, toilet paper, bleach, pet bowls, plastic cups, tarps, cleaning supplies, brooms, shovels and cash. For a complete list, visit Freeport Area High School on Facebook.
Donations will be taken to South Buffalo Volunteer Fire Department to be loaded on the trucks that are heading south.
Comedy night planned at Leechburg’s Marconi Club
Leechburg Area Community Association will host a comedy night at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Marconi Club, 135 River Ave., Leechburg.
Doors open at 5 p.m. Performers will be David Michael and Teresa Logan. Must be 21 to attend. BYO snacks. Admission is $25 and there will be a cash bar, basket auction and 50-50.

Tarentum Recreation Board is accepting applications from businesses, groups, marching groups and organizations that want to be in the annual Christmas parade scheduled for 1 p.m. Nov. 23.
