Tickets available for 4th annual New Kensington Restaurant Ramble

A dozen New Kensington restaurants will participate in the fourth annual Restaurant Ramble in March.

The event featuring the city’s downtown eateries will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 22. It is sponsored by Shop Small Shop New Ken, Voodoo Brewing New Kensington Pub and the Sweet Alchemy Bake Shop.

Tickets cost $38. They’re available online now, with a deadline of Sunday, March 16.

“We’re excited to bring this extremely popular event back to New Kensington for the fourth year in a row,” said Michelle Thom, event organizer with Shop Small Shop New Ken.

“Restaurants will be providing a range of small bites, from charcuterie cups to soup, pizza and hoagies, grape leaves, cheesecake and brownies, bison sliders, pepperoni rolls, baklava and more.”

Participating restaurants will provide ticket holders with a sample beverage, a small bite or both. They have been divided into four categories.

Those that will be offering appetizers are Ashley’s Kitchen, Farm House Fresh, Panda Chinese and Sweet Alchemy.

“Mains” will be provided by Eazer’s Restaurant, Fat Cat’s Fundraisers, Fox’s Pizza Den and Voodoo Brewing New Ken Pub.

Desserts will be available from Evanly Bakes, Sweet Tillies and Wildflower Bakery.

Steel Cup Coffee will have beverages.
