A utility project along Drennan Road in Plum is expected to begin Monday, PennDOT officials announced.

Drennan Road will be reduced to single-lane alternating traffic between Sardis and Greensburg roads weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through late October.

The restriction is necessary as crews from Thompson Electric conduct overhead utility work.

Drivers are urged to use caution when traveling through the area.

Motorists can check conditions on Drennan Road and more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by going to 511PA.com.
