Valley High alumni volunteers sought to be career coaches to today’s students

Ron Eckman Jr., a 1991 Valley High graduate, served in the Air Force for 24 years as an aircraft electrician and now lives in Las Vegas, where he works as a therapist. He is among more than 50 of the school’s alumni taking part in a new career coaching program for today’s New Kensington-Arnold students.

Ron Eckman Jr., 48, enlisted in the Air Force after graduating from Valley High School and served 24 years before retiring in 2016. Now living in Las Vegas, he’s among the school’s alumni who have volunteered to record videos about their lives for a new career coaching program at the New Kensington-Arnold School District.
