A Vandergrift building partially collapsed Wednesday evening, according to a Westmoreland County 911 dispatcher.

Vandergrift fire, police and EMS crews were dispatched around 5:10 p.m. to a building located at 125 Grant Ave., the dispatcher said. The rear of the structure had collapsed.

The cause of the collapse has not yet been determined, the dispatcher said. No one was in the building at the time of the incident.

First responders closed traffic from 11th Avenue, the street behind the building, the dispatcher said. It is unclear if the road is still closed.
