The Verona Police Department has streamlined multiple services and information access through its newly refurbished website.

The improvements will significantly improve the department’s online presence, according to a post on its Facebook page.

New services available on the site include paying parking tickets online, requesting police reports, applying for handicap parking permits, submitting tips and submitting emergency contact information.

“These new features represent a significant step forward in our efforts to leverage technology to better serve and protect our community,” the post read. “Our goal is to make interactions with the Verona Police Department as seamless and user-friendly as possible.”

Users can also request the department’s monthly statistics and employment applications, as well as accessing local, county, state and victim resources.

The department plans to add more services in the future.
