Verona police searching for burglary suspects

Verona police reported two burglary suspects took off in this vehicle April 25.

A search is underway for two people who Verona police say attempted burglarize a home along East Railroad Avenue on Friday afternoon.

Police said no injuries were reported in connection with the incident shortly after 1:15 p.m.

The suspects fled in a dark-colored vehicle that was parked along Diamond Way.

They were described as two black men in their late teens/early 20s. One was wearing all dark clothing while another wore lighter colored pants.

Police posted photos of the alleged burglars on the department’s Facebook page.
