A new auto garage specializing in window tints and vinyl wrapping is set to open in Plum in September.

Located at 7993 Saltsburg Road at Unit I, Mr. Tint PGH will offer commercial, residential and auto tints as well as customized wraps and coatings for cars, according to owner Eric Lovas.

Lovas, 29, said he’s been in the tinting business for several years, but he only started Mr. Tint PGH out of his home garage a few weeks ago. Seeing immediate interest, Lovas said he began searching for commercial space for his new enterprise.

A Plum native, Lovas is a former marine and current fireman at Unity Volunteer Fire Department. He said he’s looking forward to developing the business in his hometown.

Lovas plans to run Mr. Tint PGH with his brother while continuing his work at Tint World, a tint shop in Cranberry.
