21 new police officers graduate from WCCC’s Municipal Police Officers’ Training Academy

Twenty-one cadets graduated from Westmore­land County Community College’s Municipal Police Officers’ Training Academy during a ceremony Tuesday.

Graduates are Jordan Brasile and Grace Revitsky, both of Latrobe; Damiyan Davis of West Newton; Andrew Evans of North Huntingdon; Bradey Jackson of Allegheny Township; Jonathan Preece of White Oak; Charles Sciore of Belle Vernon; Nicholas Wiencek of Mt. Jackson, Va.; Ryan Campbell of Unity; Caroline Crim of West Deer; Savannah Guthrie of Clarksville, Tenn.; Jacob Levendusky of Mt. Pleasant; Stella Siwula of Homer City; Nathaniel Werderber of Pittsburgh; Maximus Wilson of Blairsville; Tyler Wroble­ski of Pleasant Hills; and Derek DeForrest, Seth Diehl, Kim Houser, Leah Kaylor and Dominic Watkins, all of Greensburg.

The college offers part-time and full-time options to train students to become police officers. Cadets also receive training as emergency first responders and are certified in CPR, incident command, the national incident management system and tactical skills.
